George Valerious, aged 69 years, who had been a resident of this city for 60 years, died this morning of general debility. He was born in Monroe county, the son of the late Jacob and Augusta Kuschel Valerious, and came to Pittston with his parents at the age of nine years, having resided here ever since.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Louisa Buck, of Center street, and a brother, Paul Valerious, of Giddings street.
The funeral will be held from the Howell Funeral Home, 55 South Main street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with services in charge of Rev. Frederick C. Krapf. Interment will be in Hughestown Lutheran Cemetery.
