Mr Hayes Jones and Miss Alice Coffin were united in marriage at 8 o'clock Wednesday at the home of Endsley Jones 1233 Rhode Island street, Rev. Dr. Dixon officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Jones will remain in the city until Saturday when they go to Ensley, Alabama, to reside. The bride, who is a highly respected young woman, was for a number of years a resident of this city but the past two years has resided at Redlands, California. Hayes Jones was born and reared in this city. He is a young man of personal worth and has many friends in Lawrence. For the past year he has held a responsible position in the wire mill at Ensley, Alabama. The many friends of Mr and Mrs Jones unite in wishing them a long life and much happiness.

MRS. ALICE C. JONES

Mrs. Alice C. Jones, 78, residing at 140 Columbus Blvd., Siesta Key, died Thursday night at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jones was a resident of Sarasota fro 10 years, born in Leavenworth, Kan., coming to Sarasota from New Rochelle, New York.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Sarasota, and the D.A.R. in New Rochelle, N.Y. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul Kinkel, Sarasota; two grandsons, Paul Kinkel, Sarasota and Hayes Kinkel, Jacksonville, Fla.; three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Jack Wilson, Phoenix, Arizona.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 11:30 a.m. at the Robarts Funeral Home, 22 S. Links Ave., with the Rev. J. M. McNair of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.
