LIFELONG VINELAND RESIDENT, RETIRED N.J. BELL OPERATOR
Elaine R. Compotaro, 72, of Vineland, died at home Saturday after an extended illness.
Born in Vineland, she was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement she was employed by N.J. Bell as a telephone operator. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and ALAM in Newfield. She enjoyed traveling and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Mark and his wife Laura, and Wayne, both of Vineland one sister, Adeline Bruun of Vineland and four grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Rose of Lima Church in Newfield. A viewing will be held at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial willo be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Barbetti Funeral Home, Millville.
