Syracuse (NY) Post-Standard June 23, 1906

EAST SYRACUSE, June 22.—Mrs. Nellie Sabin, wife of Peden Sabin, died this morning at her home on Hartwell Avenue. Mrs. Sabin had been a sufferer from cancer for about two years. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Ethel (Fairchild) Backenstross, Bessie M., and Doris E. Sabin,and one son, Frederick C. Sabin, all of East Syracuse. She was 49 years old. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home, and at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Woodlawn. The members of Royal Hive No. 309, of which she had been a member for a number of years, will attend the funeral in a body and will conduct the burial service at the grave. The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the B. R. T. will also turn out in a body and hold services at the grave. Rev. Isaac Swift, pastor of the Presbyterian Church will officiate.
