Mrs. George A. Ploederl, 57, of 1709 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning,
July 5, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St.
Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ploederl, nee Marilyn A. Miller, was born Nov. 30, 1922, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Reuben and Clara Regel Miller. She resided in Manitowoc all her life, attending
Manitwooc public schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1940.
She was married to George F. Ploederl, Sept. 11, 1943, at St. Andrew Catholic chruch,
Manitowoc. Mrs. Ploederl was employed at Stangel's Super Valu for 25 years where she
was in charge of the delicatessen and meat department.
Survivors include her husband, George F. Ploederl; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack
and Cheryl, Gary and Dianne; a brothers (sic), Howard Miller; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur
(Ruth) Heinrichs and Mrs. Richard (Edith) Morris all of Manitowoc; three grandsons (private);
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday
afternoon, prayer service, 7 o'clock Sunday evening.
