Gin Manager's Funeral to Be Held On Tuesday
C. Ed Francis, 39 years old, manager of the Farmers Seed and Gin company at Givens the past five years, died Monday morning at his home in Givens community northeast of Paris, where he was born and reared.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Providence church, conducted by the Rev. A. L. Lusby of Dallas, pastor of Lambuth Memorial Methodist church with interment at Providence cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Johnson, Louis Robinson, Aubrey Henson, Earl Newell. Earnest Binnion and Alfred J. Rosson. Emberson-Brown-Roden funeral home has charge of arrangements.
The only immediate survivor is his wife, formerly Miss Mozelle Mathews.
He was the son of the late Cy Francis and wife, pioneer resident of Givens community, and for several years operated a general store there.
He was well liked and respected by the people of the community and others with whom he was associated.
