Theodora Posen, 90, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday morning, August 25, 1987 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Posen, nee Theodora Kadow, was born August 25, 1897 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Leo and Frances Riederer Kadow. She attended Manitowoc schools. She married Harry Posen in 1933 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1952. Prior to retirement in 1962, Mrs. Posen was employed at Mirro Aluminum. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and an honorary member of St. Ann’s Society of the Parish.
Survivors include a son, Harry Posen of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Dr. Leslie Wiener of Hadderfield, New Jersey; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 9 am Friday. There will be no Thursday evening visitation at the funeral home.
