Hazleton Plain Speaker, Monday, February 1, 1960:
Hilary Bonin, 29 West Union street, Wilkes-Barre, died this morning at 1 o'clock at the Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, following a prolonged illness. He was born in Hazleton, a son of Christine and the late Hilary Bonin, and had resided in Plains and Wilkes-Barre the greater part of his life. He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are two children: Rose, R.N., Instructor of Nurses at Kings County, Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Hilary, Kingston. Also surviving are three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Christine Bonin, Frackville; and the following brothers and sisters: Frank, Leon Peter, Leo and Edward, of this city; Mrs. Stanley Oleck, Mahanoy City; Mrs. Stephen Kotch, Frackville; Mrs. Anthony Wallace, this city, and Mrs. Joseph Albrecht, Pontiac, Mich.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. There will be no viewing.
