22 June 1942: Mrs. Louisa Dellinger, wife of John E. Dellinger, 140 Hallam street, Wrightsville, died at 11:51 a.m. today at the Columbia hospital where she had been a patient since last Thursday, when she suffered a stroke. She was 71 years old and a daughter of the late Rudy and Sarah Garvich Kinard. Surviving besides her husband are five sisters, Mrs. Levi Krout, Loganville; Mrs. Arville Frey, York RD 7; Mrs. Delia Granger, NJ; Mrs. Solomon Sheary, Wrightsville and Mrs. Edward Shingle, Dallastown, and a brother, Harry Kinard, Wrightsville. She was a member of Grace Evangelical church, the Ladies' Bible class of the Sunday school and the Woman's Missionary society. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Etzweiler funeral home, here, with Rev. Harry Minsker, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery here.
