Josie M. Juberian was born in Belle River, Minn. on August 21, 1886. She was the daughter of John and Alice Maher Dunn. She lived her entire life on a farm about a mile from where she was born, until she entered the Osakis Community Home on July 3, 1972. She was united in marriage to Sebastian B. Juberian on October 18, 1904. She was a hard working housewife and a loving wife and mother and a friend to all. She was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Belle River. she passed away at the Osakis Memorial Home on July 28, 1977 at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 7 days. She is survived by 3 sons: Robert, Frank and John; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lum (Florence) Vandewinkel, Mrs. Martin (Mabel) Rohling; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Preceding her in death were he husband, Sebastian, Feb. 10, 1951; her daughter, Adele on Jan. 3, 1961; and her only sister and brother. Prayer services held Sunday, July 31, 1977 at 8 p.m. at Roy Funeral Home, Osakis. Mass and Christian burial was held August 1, 1977 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church at Belle River. Rev. Bernard Bednar officiated. Interment in the parish cemetery by her husband. Pallbearers were David Collins, Ralph Schulz, Desmond Quinn, Elmer Elsner, Merle Hanson and Robert Schlosser.
