Services for Martha Theodo Docia Crump, 84, of Arlington, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 13, in the Tate Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Clary officiating.
Mrs. Crump was born January 30, 1916, in Farrah, Texas, and died Friday, November 10, 2000, in Arlington.
She attended College Hill Church as a young girl. She and Theodore Bilbo Crump were married February 6, 1934, and they had four children. She lived in Marietta for 20 years. The family moved to Arlington in 1941. Docia joined Tate Springs Baptist Church shortly after moving to Arlington and worked in the nursery for over 40 years. Church and children were her two favorite things.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Crump of Berryville, Arkansas, James Crump of Lubbock, Texas, and Paul Crump of Arlington; one daughter, Janelle Taddonio of Arlington; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vera Swartz of Cleburne, Texas, Odell Gressett of Conroe, Texas, and Vivian Hobbins of Van Vleck, Texas.
Mrs. Crump was preceded in death by her husband, Bilbo in 1989.
Interment was in the Hawkins Cemetery, Arlington, under the direction of Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel, Arlington.
