Vivian Irene Hobbins

Vivian Irene Hobbins, 86, of Ashwood, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.

She was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on April 13, 1921, to Dolphus and Mattie Fincher.

She is survived by her son, James Hobbins and wife, Nancy; daughters, Maybell Evans and husband, Jerriel, and Sandra Hoots; nine grandchildren, Darlene Jones, Jerry Evans, Terry Evans, Stacy Ging, Autrey Hoots, Brandon Hoots, James Wyatt, Paula Scott and Donald Wyatt Jr.; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard T. Hobbins, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Stroud Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will be in Blessing, Texas, at Hawley Cemetery.
