Ella was the twin sister of Elwood A. Grauer, who also died as an infant.

Their father, Johann Adam Grauer (a.k.a. Adam J. Grauer) was originally interred in Witmer Cemetery, and his dates are inscribed on the same monument pictured herein. However, in 1930, after the death of Adam's wife, Emily Kline Grauer, Adam was re-interred with Emily at Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston. As Riverdale has no record for re-interment of Ella, it is presumed that she is still interred here at Witmer.
