Evelyn 'Babe' Parks, 84, formerly of Thorofare, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Home Inspired Senior Living in Kenosha, WI.

Legacy

Babe was born on August 21, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, to William F. and Evelyn Hamilton. She attended school in National Park, NJ. On February 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Ernest A. Parks, Sr. Babe was employed at various factory jobs in New Jersey. She was an avid gardener and made delicious pies and cakes. She especially enjoyed watching NASCAR and playing the slots in Atlantic City. After her and her husband Ernie retired, they spent time traveling. Before moving to Wisconsin to be near her son, Ernie and his wife Lynn, Babe attended St. Matthew's Catholic Church in National Park, NJ. She and her husband Ernie were members of the Lion's Club.

Family

Her husband, Ernest, Sr. parents, William F. and Evelyn Hamilton, and her brothers, William and Samuel, preceded her in death. Babe is survived by her son, Ernest (Lynn) Parks, Jr.; grandson, Ryan Parks, and granddaughter, Tara Kappel; brother, Jack (Maureen) Hamilton and sister, Theresa Hamilton; sister-in-law, Frances (Hamilton) Hughes; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and other dear friends.
