Possibly died due to TB. There was a TB hospital in Iola. She was being treated at an infirmary or "poor farm" in Iola not sure if it was for TB or not though.

She died in Iola KS on Dec 6th 1904.

According to an article in the Iola Daily Register she had been an inmate at the county poor farm which is a place the very sick went to when the family could no longer take care of a person. She died at the farm at 4 o'clock on Dec 6, 1904. Her home was in Kincaid and formerly in Iola. She had been in the poor farm for 10 weeks.
