Ethel M. Andrews, age 88, current resident of the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, died peacefully Sunday, January 18, 2015, with family at her side.

Ethel was born January 26, 1926, daughter of the late Heber and Ceilia (Kowash) Clayton. She attended public schools in Two Rivers. Ethel worked as a registered nurse at the Two Rivers Community Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 1981. On February 15, 1947, she married Darwin D. Andrews, Sr. at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1998.

Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Graig and Mary Andrews of Green Bay, Darwin "Andy" and Mary Andrews, Jr. of Two Rivers; two daughters & sons-in-law, Kay Lynn and Bob Prucha, Dawn and Jim Doubek; and a daughter-in-law, Holly Andrews, all of Two Rivers. She is further survived by seventeen grandchildren & thirty one great grandchildren; one sister, Jean Barta; and a special friend, Shirley Andrews, both of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Dean Andrews; twin great granddaughters, Olivia & Hannah; one sister & two brothers-in-law, Miriam (Don) Lintereur and Dale Barta; one brother & sister-in-law, Owen (Betty) Clayton; and by a special cousin, Doris Otis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Emanuel United Methodist Church, 1218 Madison St., Two Rivers. Rev. Joan Frost will officiate at the service, with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum.
