Born June 4, 1925, in Peoria to Andrew and Anna Herrick Petkovsek, she married L. Winston Farrow on Nov. 9, 1946, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Thomas (and Jeanette) Farrow of Dahinda; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two greatgranddaughters; and two sisters, Marian Petkovsek of Chicago and Augusta Petkovsek of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Randy (Mardee) Lauterbach, and one brother.
She worked for several years as an operator and trainer for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Peoria.
She was one of the initial organizers, charter member, and first president of the Bartonville Femmes Unir Club.
She was a member of Daughters of the Nile and the Peoria Women's Club.
She volunteered as a reader to the blind for WCBU-FM at Bradley University. She also volunteered for several years at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was a former Brownie leader in the Bartonville area.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Craig Hislope will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
