Bill was a case manager for D.H.S. He previously worked for Jake Patterson at the Charleston Food Center for numerous years. He also worked at Medi-Sav Pharmacy in Charleston, Franklin County EMS, and was on the Charleston Fire Department. Bill coached Little League Baseball, was co-founder of Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston, taught religion classes, 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus, and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston.
Rosary service with visitation to follow will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 29th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 30th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie (Sharum) Mariott; one daughter, Stephanie Snead and husband Ryan of Bryant, Arkansas; two sons, Nicholas Mariott and wife Jacque, stationed in Germany and Aaron Mariott and wife Lori of Morrilton, Arkansas; four sisters, Helen Gantt of Charleston, Nancy Riddle of Lavaca, Martha Ullrich of Paris, and Debbie Phelps of Charleston; four grandchildren, Ashton Mariott, Bella Mariott, Caleigh Mariott, and William Snead.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Jason Ullrich, Marc Ullrich, Larry Gantt, Derrick Wells, Gary Carpenter, and Martin Sharum.
