Dorothy (Ide) Ciannelli of 420 Phoenix St., Duryea, passed away on Thursday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in West Pittston and lived in Exeter and Duryea. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Florence Howell Ide. She was a 1959 graduate of Exeter High School. Before she retired in December of 1996, she was employed for 24 years at Topps Chewing Gum Co., Duryea. She was a member of Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church, West Pittston.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years; a son; three grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a service at 10:30 a.m. in Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church. The Revs. George Czar and Paul McDonnell will officiate. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
