Emberson, Freeda Coffey
Freeda Coffey Emberson, age 65, of Centerville died Thursday at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 7, 1937 in Dardanelle; she was the daughter of the late Lester and Era Jones Coffey. She was a retired nurses aid and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Lisa Ann Emberson.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Charles "Ed" Emberson of Centerville; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Lesa Emberson of Centerville; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and James Hilliard of Centerville; brothers, Lemoyne Coffey of Dardanelle, Bill Coffey of Russellville; a sister, Mary Perkins of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, October 7, 2002 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home Dardanelle. Pallbearers were Jeffrey Robertson, Richard Slaughter, William Slaughter, Robert Tucker, Mitch Emberson, Larry Cunningham.
