William "Bill" Coffey age 77 of Russellville died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home. He was born March 19, 1934 at Dardanelle to the late Geo Lester and Lea Viola Jones Coffey.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Roger-Rye VFW. He was a master gardener and the best neighbor anyone could ask for and he loved animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Sue Perkins and Freda Emberson.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Coffey of Russellville; two daughters, Vicki George of Dardanelle, Karen Kaplan and husband Lou of California; two stepsons, Steve Scalco and wife Shirley of London, Robert Scalco and wife Michelle of Russellville; one brother, Lemoyne Coffey and wife Margie of Dardanelle; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; favorite nephews, Tommy Coffey of Dardanelle, Bob Perkins of Oklahoma and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M., Friday, October 14, 2011 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Dardanelle. Visitation will be held held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M.

Pallbearers: Greg Judkins, Nick George, Michael Scalco, Chris Scalco, Ryan Scalco.

Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Scalco, Steve Scalco, Dr. Kevin Beavers, staff of Arkansas Hospice.
