Susan M. Dumke, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 2, 2014. Susie was born to the late Alvin Sr. and Ruby Wasurick on August 1, 1954.

Sue married the love of her life, John Dumke on June 5, 1976.

Sue most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was surrounded by many nieces and nephews that she loved to spoil, always making each one feel as if they were her favorite.
Sue always had a kind smile and word for everyone. She also enjoyed birds and flowers and always looked forward to the yearly family and friends camping trip to Shakey Lakes, Mich.
One of Sue and John's favorite past times were antique collecting and searching for just the right pieces to add to their collections.

John was an avid member of the Oconto Elks Lodge 887 and Sue proudly supported their projects both before and after John's passing. The Packers were her favorite team to watch and she was disappointed by this season's outcome.
Susie especially looked forward to outings with her dearest friends: Debi Shufelt, Debbie Brennan and Jan Paluch.

During John's illness Susie's friendship with her closest high school friends: Jane Carlin, JoAnne Moody and Mary Skaggs was rekindled which gave her much comfort and joy. Sue was employed with her husband John and brother-in-law, Rich at Dumke Brothers Farm Equipment Sales & Service as the office manager for the past 25 years. Sue really enjoyed visiting with customers and suppliers that came into their business. They were always considered friends. Sue was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oconto. She loved the early Sunday morning service and visiting with her church family. Sue also enjoyed the weekly bible study she attended with her Christian friends. After the loss of her beloved husband John in 2013, Sue found comfort in knowing Jesus and reading her Bible daily.

Sue is survived by her loving companion, Jase (her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel);
sisters: Judy (Ken) LaFortune, Donna Bushmaker and Janey Belongia, all of Oconto, WI;
and brother, James (Dede) Wasurick of Green Bay, WI;
father & mother-in-law, Leo and Carroll Dumke of Oconto, WI;
brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard (Wendy) Dumke, Sandy (Vic) Heitzkey, Barbara (Jim) Shufelt and Darlene (Paul) Meagher.
She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, John, of 37 years;
beloved pet cat of 20 years, Sassy;
her parents, Alvin Sr. and Ruby (Reed) Wasurick;
siblings: Elizabeth (Betty) Wasurick, Alvin Jr. and Marge Wasurick, Roger Wasurick, Jean Belland, Mary and Buel Mills and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 9 pm. Friday, February 6, 2015. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Oconto. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church with Rev. Craig Alwin officiating.
