Judy F. "Judes" LaFortune was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left the world peacefully on March 18. 2023 at age 83. She was born in Oconto, WI on July 12th, 1939 to the late Alvin Sr. And Ruby (Reed) Wasurick.

Judy graduated from Oconto High School in 1957.

She married her high school sweetheart Ken LaFortune on April 19, 1958.

Judy loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals and treats for her family. She enjoyed camping, country music festivals and playing bingo. You could regularly find Judy out for a meal with her late husband Ken and they would inevitably be bragging about their children and grandchildren.
Judy and Ken (Judes and KK) were a staple in the Oconto community and will be missed greatly by all.

Judith is survived by two daughters: Julie LaFortune and Mary (David) Lade;
a son Mark (Renae) LaFortune;
two grandchildren, Jason Lade and Jeremy (Melissa) Lade;
and two great grandchildren, Kenzie and Brezlin Lade;
sisters: Donna Bushmaker and Janey Belongia.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the United Methodist Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023. Memorial services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday at the church wit the Rev. Fredrick Schultz officiating.
