Leon Senac married fellow immigrant Teresa Rivera on the 12th of January, 1869. He was the father of four of her children, Angelo Simon, Antoinette Dora, Leon Michel and Cecile Maria Loretta.
Leon spent most of the 1870's to about 1885 in Losoya, Texas just outside of San Antonio. Known in Texas as Leonardo Senac, he was the father of Maria Ascuncion Gallardo's children, Leonardo, Epifanio, Maria Cecilia, and Refugia. Of Maria Ascuncion Gallardo and Leonardo Senac's children apparently only Maria survived into adulthood. If Leonardo reached adulthood, he may have gone by Francisco Senac.
Leon Senac's name appeared in the New Orleans City Directory from 1886 to 1891 when he had returned from San Antonio and is listed once again as a butcher. It is at this time that he and Theresa have their last two children.
Around 1891, Leon seems to have retired from the butchering business and moved his family to Crowley, Louisiana where he was a successful rice farmer until his death in the fall of 1900.
