Ruth Blaker Mann, 90 of Moore, OK, passed away on February 9, 2015. Ruth was born on September 5, 1924 in Antlers, OK to Tommy and Nanny Catherine Blaker.

A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, she loved children of all ages, and at 78 was the oldest licensed in-home daycare owner in Cleveland County. She was forced into retirement in 2003 after surviving the tornado that took her home of 40 years. The love she shared for family, neighbors, church and all the children in her life was as strong as the faith she had in Jesus. She prayed daily for everyone to find their way to Him.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey of 67 years. She is survived by daughter, Lucretia Copeland; sons, Ronald Mann and wife Laura Mann and Rodney Mann and wife Karen; 5 grandchildren, James Copeland, Jr., Nicholas Mann, Montana Mann, Sierra Mann and Cheyenne Mann; 4 great-grandchildren, Chase, Reese and Logan Copeland, Addyson and Noah Mann.

Funeral services are 11:00 am, Friday, February 13 at Southmoore Baptist Church, 3801 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. Interment will follow at 2pm at Oaklawn Cemetary in Sulphur. Visitation is Thursday, February 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. at John Ireland, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK.
