Abigail Case Allred, 85, of Bogue Chitto, MS died April 9, 2014 at her residence.
Visitation will be Friday evening at Adams United Methodist Church from 5 until 8 PM and Saturday from 10:00 until services at 11:00 AM at the Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Greg Pittman will officiate.
Mrs. Allred was born on December 29, 1928 in Lincoln County, MS. She was the daughter of Eugene Case and Blanche Nettles Case.
She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved cooking for her family and she also loved sewing, quilting and crocheting. She was a longtime member of Adams United Methodist Church, The Eastern Star Auburn Chapter #87 and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers.
Mrs. Allred was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Bernard Allred; grandson, Jeremy Boyd; son-in-law, Gene Boyd; one brother, Felix Case and one sister, Evonne Case
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Kenneth Allred of Bogue Chitto; three daughters, Dianne Boyd of Bogue Chitto, Nelda Hodges and husband, Wayne of Bogue Chitto and Janice Davis and husband, Charles R. of Brookhaven; two brothers, Elvin Case and wife, Margaret of McCall Creek and Arthur Case of Phoenix, AR; one sister, Helen Richardson of Bogue Chitto; seven grandchildren, Becky "Jenny" Buffington and husband, Joe, Jeffery Boyd, Jonathan Hodges and wife, Sarah, Jessica Rempel and husband, James, Stephanie Jordan and husband, Brandon, Brian Davis and wife, Lindsey and Julie Hodges; nine great grandchildren, Austin Buffington, Shawn Michael Buffington, Tristan Buffington, Anna Brooke Davis, Abby Jordan, Brett Jordan, Cooper Burnette, Braxton Davis, Brydan Llewellyn and Christy Rempel.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Adams United Methodist Church Youth Fund or Charity of your choice.
