Alma (Original spelling Ahna) and her sister, Maria, left Germany and traveled to Glasgow,Scotland on the ship Cumberland. In Scotland they boarded the ship Anchoria on April 3, 1885. They traveled 2nd class and arrived at the Port of New York on 16 Apr 1885.
