Clemens C. Geiser, 81, of the Chilton Village Nursing Home, formerly of the town of Chilton, died on Friday, March 10, 1995 at the nursing home.
He was born on June 26, 1912 in the town of Charlestown, son of the late Frank and Margaret (Woelfel) Geiser. He married Vilma Ohlrogge on June 24, 1935 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.
He attended St. Martin Catholic School in the town of Charlestown and later in the town of Chilton. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. He loved his animals, and was a member of the Holstein Association at the Calumet County and National levels. He was a delegate and founding member of the Lake to Lake Cooperative and he belonged to several skat clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Vilma; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marlene Schumacher of Chilton, Margie and Anthony Leger of Huston, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Alois Geiser of Chilton; a sister, Marie (Martin) VanDaalwyk of Chilton, and a step sister, Dorothy (Florian) Woelfel of Chilton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia; a son-in-law, Al Schumacher; four brothers, a sister, and a step-sister.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Al Geiser and the Rev. Gary New as officiants. Spring burial was in the parish cemetery.
