Frank Geiser, Sr., a lifelong resident of the town of Charlestown, died Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfons Keuler, Chilton, where he had been living for a short time.

Mr. Geiser was born Aug. 3, 1876, in Manitowoc County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Geiser. He attended St. Martin’s school in the town of Charlestown. He was married Nov. 17, 1902 to Margaret Woelfel, who passed away March 5, 1927. He was married to Theresa Scholz Wettstein, who died in May of this year.

He was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Martin’s church, and a charter member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, and was affiliated with Charlestown Branch No. 194.

Survivors are eight children, Anton, Whitewater, Mrs. Alfons Keuler, Chilton, Frank, New Holstein, Clemens, Alois and Mrs. John Scharer of the town of Chilton, Gregory and Victor of the town of Charlestown; five brothers, Joseph, Brothertown, John, Millette, S.D., August, Martin and Peter of Chilton; three sisters, Mrs. Mike Schwarz, Chilton, Sr. M. Tharcisia O.S.F., Campbellsport, and Mrs. Carl Hanke, Charlesburg. There are 21 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Pfeffer Funeral home and at St. Martin’s church, Charlestown, this Thursday morning. Rev. Fintan Holzknecht will officiate. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery.
