He was born Nov. 8, 1939 in Chelyan, the son of Clarence and Minnie Basham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, CD, and grandson, Brandon Hall.
Clarence was retired from the Board of Education with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the Salina Lodge No. 27 AF&AM and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sandra; daughter, Donna Nunley; son, Tim Basham; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
Celebration of Clarence's life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ralph Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
