Memorial services for Betty Stanton of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 5, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating.



Betty died Sunday, March 28, 2010 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 80. She was born on November 25, 1929 in Canalou, Missouri, the daughter of Calvin and Ruby Lucy Blankinship. She married Ralph Stanton on December 25, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a homemaker. Betty lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1993 moving from San Diego, CA and was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and Silver Sneakers. Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her husband Ralph, family and friends, and gardening. She spent the last 3 years visiting her husband, Ralph daily at Good Samaritan.



Betty is survived by her husband, Ralph Stanton, 2 sons, 6 brothers and sisters, 1 daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren, 1 sister in law, *Emma Jean Blankinship, 1 brother in law, and 19 nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tom Parsons, 2 sisters, Iris Drake and Jessie Baer, 1 brother, Calvin Blankinship Jr. and 1 nephew.
