R. SCRIBNER Dead at 81
Bancroft--Roger SCRIBNER, 81, of 4309 Bath Rd., Morrice, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Owosso.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James SMITH officiating. Burial will be in Union Plains Cemetery.
Mr. SCRIBNER was born on July 19, 1881 on the Antrim Township farm where he resided all his life. He was the son of Wayland and Lydia SCRIBNER.
Mr. SCRIBNER was married to Adaline FRYE at Perry on Nov. 14, 1906.
Survivors include: his widow, Adaline; two daughters, Mrs. Irene BROWN of Morrice and Mrs. Audra O'SHAUGHNESSY of Haslett; two sons, Durwell of Morrice, and Roger, Jr. of Owosso; one brother, Clark of Morrice; and 12 grandchildren.
