Rebecca Barrett, 93 of Moores Hill, passed away Friday February 20, 2015 at the Waters of Dillsboro. Rebecca was born Sunday December 11, 1921 in Kentucky the daughter of Frank and Minerva (Harris) Jones. She married Jesse Barret on March 31, 1941. They were married for 73 years before he preceded her in death September 28, 2008. Rebecca was a member of the Chappelow Ridge Pentecostal Church in West Harrison, IN. She was a homemaker and care giver to many. Rebecca enjoyed sewing, working in the yard and embroidering. Rebecca is survived by son: Benny (Judy) Barrett of Moores Hill; Daughter: Juanita Light of Versailles, Ky; Lorrine Hampton of Moores Hill; Peggy Baker of Boston , Virginia Anderson of Moores Hill; Janet Mays of Everton, IN; Sister: Edith Settles of Hamilton, OH. 31 Grandchildren, many Great Granchildren several great-great grandchildren. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two son: Allen and Wayne Barrett, daughters: Roberta Hensley and Geneva Cox; two grandsons: Willy Cox and Jack Anthony. Graveside service will be Monday February 23, 2015 1PM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill, IN with Pastor Elmer Kegley officiating. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer.
