Robert J. Craghead
1924 - 2015
Robert, age 90, a lifelong resident of Brigham City, died peacefully while living at the Maple Springs Retirement Community. He was one of ten children born to William Henry Craghead and Urania Gertrude Petersen.
He married Lucille Misrasi on November 27, 1946, and later sealed together in the Logan LDS Temple.
Robert enlisted and served in the Navy during World War 11. He was a Master Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He retired from Williams International.
He enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents; sisters: Theola Brown Powell, Marie Larsen, Rita Mae Jeppesen; brothers: Dean Craghead and LaVan Craghead; and son, Robert A. Craghead. He is survived by two brothers: Dennis E. Craghead and LeRoy H. Craghead, and one sister, Maxine Fonnesbeck; daughters: Christine (Jerry) Secrist and Patsy (Steven) Cutler and one son, Ted (LaVonne) Craghead. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 E. 300 S., Brigham City, UT., with Military Honors accorded.
Visitation was from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City prior to the services. Family members also thanked Maple Springs Assisted Living, Integrity Home Care, and Ali's Angels for the special care they provided.
