Madam Ruth Patten Relict of Rev. William Patten and daughter of Rev. Eleazer Wheelock D.D. Founder and first President of Dartmouth College, NH. She fell asleep in Jesus Dec. 5th 1831 in the XCII year of her age.

"She was 78 years a member of the Church, was strong in faith, cheerful in trials, fervent in prayer, full of great works. A mother in Israel."

On the day Ruth died she was 91 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 92.
