Bessie was preceded in death by her son, Theodore Kefalas and her daughter, Mary Tsioros of Tampa. She is survived by her husband Kostas Kefalas of Tampa, her granddaughters; Valerie and husband Chris Dietrich of Largo, Brigitte and husband Philip O'Shay of Wesley Chapel, grandsons; Kosta and George Kefalas of Tampa, and great grandchildren; Alexsandra and Elizabeth O'Shay and Ryan and Riley Dietrich. Bessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and devoted her life to her family. She knew and lovingly shared her Greek traditions with others. According to the initial findings it is being ruled a double murder suicide. Bessie was the mother-in-law of both Sofia Kefalas and Vasilios Tsioros.
