Sr. Ermentrude was invested in the Franciscan Order in May of June 16, 1909 and took her first vows, June 21, 1914 and her final vows, August 10, 1920.
Sr. Ermentrude served the congregation as a teacher. She was retired to Campbellsport, WI on June 4, 1954 because of impaired health. Sister was an exemplary religious and an edification to all.
In the 1920 U.S. Census, she was in McHenry, Illinois.
From about 1932 to 1941, she was at the St. Labre Indian Mission in Ashland, Montana.
She was at St. Joseph's Convent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the 1940's.
