VIDALIA -- Effie Beasley, 85, died Aug. 2 at the Bethany Home. The Laurens County native lived most of her life in Treutlen County. She was the widow of Tildon Calvin Beasley and was a Holiness.
SURVIVORS: three sons, Donald, Bobby and Hugh Beasley, all of Soperton; four daughters, Jeanne McLendon, Sarah Quick and Angie Hooks, all of Soperton, and Linnie Claxton of Wrightsville; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
