William Henry Bohr, 92, of Aurora, passed away on January 8, 1998, at Jennings Terrace Nursing Home in Aurora.

He was born April 4, 1905, in Aurora, the son of Nicholas and Susan (Kartheiser) Bohr.

William worked at Pictorial Paper Package Co. until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of the Phoenix Club, The Luxembourger Club, Knights of Colombus Council #736, Marquette General Assembly 4th Degree, and St. Joseph Church.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Pauline (Thill) Bohr; one son, William N. (Dee) Bohr; a daughter-in- law, Joyce (Racicot) Bohr; 11 grandchildren: Pam (Jeff) Prestinario, Pat (Rick) Dickens, Terry (Jodi) Bohr, Tim (Laura) Bohr, Todd (Mary) Bohr, Mary (Barry) Moorehouse, Ray (Mary) Bohr, Tom (Linda) Bohr, Ann McGary, Susan Bohr, John (Cindy) Bohr; and two step-granddaughters, Kelly (Mark) Carlson and Kristen (Mark) Luedtke; 29 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Survivors also include his brothers, George (Evelyn), Art (Marjorie), and Fr. Luke Bohr, O.S.B. of Marmion Abbey; his sister, Cecile (Elmer) Diederich; sisters-in-law Gertrude (Bernard) Bohr and Rosemary (Albert) Bohr.

He was preceded in death by a son Gerald; his parents, Nicholas and Susan; his brothers, Ted, Albert, and Bernard Bohr; his sisters, Elizabeth (Peter) Frieders, Barbara (John) Gartman, and Mary (Harry) Theisen.

Funeral from the Daleiden Lake St. Mortuary Saturday, January 10, 1998, at 9:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Fr. Jerome L. Leake will officiate with interment in Marywood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a liturgical wake service at 4 p.m. at the Daleiden Lake St. Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. (630) 898-8634.
