James P. Fithian, 1609 West 26th St., Joplin, Missouri was a retired carpenter. He was married to the former Cora Irene Vicory on November 16, 1890 in Jasper county, Missouri. She survived him. His death certificate attributed his death to a coronary occlusion, senility and other complications.
It also indicated he was the son of George Riley Fithian and Elizabeth Galbreath.
He was buried in Osborne Cemetery in Joplin under the direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary on June 11, 1951.
