He was a native of Macedonia and was born Feb. 12, 1883. He came to America in 1902 and settled in Steelton where he was engaged in the grocery business. While there he married Marie Behoscheh. They moved to Mount Union in 1916, and for a time he carried on a grocery store business. He was employed by the General Refractories Company for a number of years. His wife preceded him in death in 1942.
Mr. Abrashoff was a member of St. Peter's and St. Paul's Orthodox Church of Mount Union.
He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Stacia Smith and Mrs. Nada Abrashoff, both of Harrisburg; Mrs. Genevieve Coleman of Mt. Hope, Va.; Victor Abrashoff of Cleveland, Ohio; Melvin, Kero and Astaruk Abrashoff, all of Mount Union, and Donald Abrashoff of Altoona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one sister Nellie of Europe.
The funeral services will be held Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock at St. Peter's and St. Paul's Orthodox Church in Mount Union, conducted by Father Basile Pavloff. Interment in the Greek plot of the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mount Union. Friends may call at Clark's funeral home after 12 o'clock noon on Sunday.
