Funeral Services for Arnold H. Krumrey, age 85, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, who died Thursday, December 17, 1998, at the center, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 21, 1998, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the AMVETS Post #99.

Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4-7 p.m. Sunday (TONIGHT), and on Mondy from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.

Arnold H. Krumrey, age 85, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died Thursday, December 17, 1998, at the center.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 21, 1998, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth. Military Graveside Rites will be accorded by the Amvets Post #99.

He was born on November 9, 1913, in the town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, son of the late Richard and Alvina Rehme Krumrey. He married Arlene R. Augustine on December 20, 1941, in Newton. She preceded him in death on May 27, 1996.

In his early years Arnold farmed on the home farm in the town of Centerville. He then became employed for several years for Northwestern Railroad and also Brown’s Motors Company. In 1952, he became employed by Manitowoc Portland Cement Company from here he retired in 1975. Arnold served with the United States Army during World War II as a medic while being stationed overseas.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Eileen Krumrey, Manitowoc; one grandson, Richard (Radar) Krumrey, Manitowoc; two brothers, Alvin Krumrey, LaCrosse, Raymond Krumrey, Manitowoc; one sister, Erma Schreoder, Manitowoc; his God-daughter, Cathy Litwin, Milwaukee; nieces, nephew, along with other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Arlene in 1996; several brothers and sisters along with an infant granddaughter, Ellen Krumrey.
