Erma R. Schroeder, age 82, who was living with her daughter, Darlene Engeldinger,
in Wisconsin Rapids, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in Wisconsin
Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Loren Lindeman will officiate with
burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at
11 a.m.
Erma was born Oct. 27, 1921 in the town of Newton, to the late Richard and Alvina
Rehme Krumrey. She married Arnold H. Schroeder June 28, 1941, in Manitowoc. Mr.
Schroeder preceded her in death July 28, 1983. She was a member of Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Engeldinger, Wisconsin Rapids; two grand-
children, Pamela (Sean) Hammersley, Manitowoc; Teresa (Tom) Roggendorf, Marinette;
seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ella Schroeder, Manitowoc; also other
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a son
and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Kathy Schroeder, three brothers and two sisters.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc,
is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
