Margaret Craig of Auburn, Indiana

¨C Margaret Craig, 95 of Auburn passed away Friday March 13, 2015 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.

She was born July 7, 1919 in Toronto Ontario, Canada to Jack W and Mary Jane (Harnden) Fletcher.

She taught Religious Education in New Castle, Blue Ridge and Shenandoah in Indiana, teaching until she was 73.

She attended Bible Study Foundation for 10 years in Mount Summit. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ where she was active in the Christian Women¡¯s Fellowship and was also very active at Smith Farms Manor in Auburn when she was a resident there.

Margaret married Rev. William Milton Craig on June 20, 1942 in Toronto, Canada and he passed away in October of 2008.

Surviving is a son, Rev. Dr. Robert (Darlene) Craig of Waterloo; a daughter, Ruth (Richard) Kendall of Yuba City, CA; a special Son in Law, Larry Pifer and wife Arlene; 8 grandchildren, Rebecca Stephens, Craig (Patricia) Pifer, Christian (Teresa) Craig, Jana Craig, Joshua (Denise) Craig, William Stanley, Paul (Julia) Stanley, Samuel (Alicia) Stanley and a granddaughter in law, Christine Pifer; 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 daughters, Mary Jane Pifer, Donna Craig, a grandson Carl Pifer, sisters Norma Cillis, Ruth Gould and brothers Cecil Fletcher and John Fletcher Jr.

Services are 11 AM Monday March 16, 2015 at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ with Rev Betty Sivis officiating. Burial in Mount Summit Cemetery in Mount Summit IN. Calling is Sunday from 3 to 6 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN and also 1 hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Memorials can be given in Margaret¡¯s name to DeKalb Health Hospice or First Christian Church, Disciples
