Arthur Tattersall Sr., 85, of 214 Roosevelt Ave., a retired textile dyer, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Grace A. (Sidebottom) Tattersall.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Benjamin and Emily (Kershaw) Tattersall, he lived in Pawtucket most of his life.
Mr. Tattersall worked 40 years for the J & P Coates Co. before retiring. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Persons and the Fogarty Manor Association. He was a World War I Army veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Arthur Tattersall Jr.** of Warwick; a brother, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
