WILSON DURNING FORTUNE, 30, of Plainfield, died Saturday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Elizabeth Reid FORTUNE, Oxford, and the late John Austin FORTUNE. He was an employee of MacDougall Construction. He is survived by a son, John Albert, Toronto; four sisters, Ann (Mrs. Mark HORVATH) and Mrs. Evelyn GRAHAM, both of St. Catharine's Ont.; Emily (Mrs. Dennis SLAUNWHITE), Hardwood HILL, and Fern (Mrs. Peter RICE), Pictou; three brothers, Hughie, Plainfield; Charlie, Scotch Hill, and Allan, Hardwood Hill. He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene and Albert. The body is in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn, Rev. Mark MacLENNAN officiating, with burial in Bethel Cemetery.
