Alline Stansell Gilstrap, 90, wife of the late Hovey O’Neal Gilstrap, passed from this life on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Mrs. Gilstrap was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Larry and Josie Holcombe Stansell. She was retired from Mayfair Mills, Pickens Plant as a cloth inspector and she was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, David R. Gilstrap (Audrey) of Pickens, and her daughters, Carol Gravely (Bobby Joe) of Sunset, and Linda McKinney (Jim) of Pickens, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and her brother, Willie Stansell of Pickens.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gilstrap was preceded in death by a son, Dwight O’Neal Gilstrap, a sister, Christine Childress, and brothers, James Stansell and Ferber Stansell.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:45 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
