Born November 26, 1912, in Leesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harve and Bessie (Speer) Collier.
She was the retired co-owner of Bud's Cafe in Bloomington along with her husband, Willard "Bud" Lane. She was also associated with her husband with B&B Electrical in Bloomington. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi sorority.
Survivors include her son, William B. Lane, and her daughter, Joella Stewart, both of Indianapolis, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 16, 2004; two sisters, Ruth Baugh and Elsie Marie McDaniel; and three brothers, James Collier, Bruce Collier and Hubert Collier.
Entombment in Valhalla Mausoleum.
