The death of Mr James Cunliffe, proprietor of the Ward accommodation house, which occurred suddenly this morning, cast a gloom over the whole of the Flaxbourne district, our correspondent reports. The deceased, prior to taking over the accommodation house, was a driver on the railway for many years and made many friends. He is survived by his widow and a family.
