Anton “Tony” Ternes, 79, Zimmerman, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at his home.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, March 19.
He was born June 30, 1935, in Strasburg, ND, to Romanus and Celestina (Wagner) Ternes.
Tony grew up in North Dakota and lived in North Dakota until he entered the US Army. After discharge he lived in Iowa for a short time then moved to Minneapolis where he met and married Linda “Mary” Dehne December 23, 1978, in Brooklyn Park. They moved to the Zimmerman area following their marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Agnes Krumm; granddaughter, Lucy; brothers, Aloysius, August, Oswald, Bob, Isadore, Bernard and Ray; and sisters, Cecilia, Sybella, Olivia and Rose.
